🛵 Lebanon’s Motorcycle Boom: From Convenience to Chaos on the Streets
Lately, it feels like Lebanon is competing with China and India — not in tech or trade, but in the number of motorcycles weaving through traffic.
Every corner hums with the buzz of two wheels racing between cars, sidewalks, and sometimes even against the flow.
What started as a smart solution to Lebanon’s traffic and fuel crisis has turned into what looks like a national obsession.
Delivery drivers, students, and even parents have joined the two-wheel revolution — but the roads haven’t kept up, and neither have the rules.
Sidewalks are now shortcuts, and red lights have become suggestions.
It’s hard to blame anyone.
Motorcycles in Lebanon are fast, cheap, and fuel-efficient — the perfect survival tool in today’s economy.
But when helmets become optional fashion accessories and every street sounds like a racetrack, it’s fair to ask:
👉 Have we crossed the line from convenience to chaos?
Lebanon’s motorcycle boom is a snapshot of our reality — resourceful, restless, and always on the move.
Still, maybe it’s time to hit the brakes a little… before Beirut’s traffic turns into one endless motor rally.

بيحسّ الواحد إنو لبنان داخل بمنافسة مع الصين والهند — مش بالتكنولوجيا أو التجارة،
بل بعدد الموتسيكلات يلي صارت مالية الشوارع من الشمال للجنوب.
وين ما تبرم، في زمّور، طنين، وصوت دولابَين عم يقطعوا بين السيارات، عالرصيف، وأوقات بالعكس كمان!
يلي بلّش كحلّ ذكي لأزمة البنزين والزحمة، صار اليوم متل هوس وطني.
طلّاب، موظّفين، ودليفري صاروا كلّن عالدولابين،
بس الطرقات بعدها متل ما هي — من دون تنظيم ومن دون رقابة.
الرصيف صار shortcut، والإشارة الحمرا صارت اقتراح. 🚦😅
وما فينا نلوم العالم.
الموتسيكل بلبنان سريع، رخيص، وبيوفّر بنزين — وسيلة عيش مش بس نقل.
بس وقت الخوذة بتصير أكسسوار اختياري، وكل شارع بيصير حلبة سباق،
بيحقّ لنا نسأل:
👉 هل تعدّينا الخطّ بين الراحة… والفوضى؟
انتشار الموتسيكلات بلبنان بيعكس واقعنا — ناس دايمًا عم تتحايل لتعيش، دايمًا عالحركة، وبدها توصل بأي طريقة.
بس يمكن صار الوقت نبطّئ شوي،
