Lebanon has taken a major step in modernizing public transport with the addition of public bus routes to Google Maps. For the first time, commuters and visitors can plan their trips using real bus routes, stops, and directions directly from their phones.
Users can simply enter their destination, choose the bus option, and get clear guidance, including walking directions to the nearest stop and estimated travel times.
Key intercity routes now visible include:
- Beirut ↔ Tripoli
- Beirut ↔ Saida
- Beirut ↔ Sour
- Beirut ↔ Bekaa (Chtaura area)
Inside Beirut, major stops connect areas such as:
- Nahr el Mott
- Hamra
- Downtown
- Sodeco
- Achrafieh (Place Sassine)
- Verdun
This update makes public transport easier to use, more organized, and more accessible, marking an important move toward a smarter and more sustainable mobility system in Lebanon.
لبنان خطا خطوة كبيرة بتطوير النقل العام مع إضافة خطوط الباصات على Google Maps. لأول مرة، صار فيك تخطّط مشاويرك وتشوف خطوط الباصات الحقيقية، المواقف، والاتجاهات مباشرة من تليفونك.
كل اللي عليك تعمله إنك تكتب وجهتك، تختار خيار الباص، وبتطلعلك إرشادات واضحة، حتى طريق المشي لأقرب موقف، مع وقت الرحلة التقريبي.
أهم الخطوط بين المدن اللي صارت ظاهرة:

• بيروت ↔ صيدا

• بيروت ↔ البقاع (منطقة شتورا)
و جوّا بيروت، في محطات أساسية بتربط مناطق مثل:
• نهر الموت
• الحمرا
• وسط البلد
• السوديكو
• الأشرفية (ساحة ساسين)
• فردان
هالتحديث خلّى استخدام النقل العام أسهل، أوضح، ومُنظَّم أكتر، وبيشكّل خطوة مهمّة نحو نظام تنقّل أذكى وأكتر استدامة بلبنان.
